The Doomsday Heist Act 1 (The Data Breaches) Full Guide

Facility

Before we begin, in order to start The Doomsday Heist, you will need to buy a Facility. A Facility is needed in order to setup the heist acts and carry out all the necessary missions. There are a total of 9 facilities to choose from with the cheapest facility costing $1,250,000 (located at Paleto Bay) and the most expensive one costing $2,950,000 at Land Act Reservoir. You can buy a facility from Maze Bank Foreclosures. Whichever facility you choose is completely dependent on your budget and how much you can afford. You will be able to carry out the doomsday heist whether it's from the cheapest or the most expensive facility.

Once you've bought a facility, Lester will call you to set up the heist. At first you will only be able to play through the Act in the order of 1 through to 3. After the completion of Act 3, you can replay any one of the acts in any order.

Setup Costs

Each act has its own setup cost which are:

Act Setup Cost
Act 1 - The Data Breaches $25,000
Act 2 - The Bogdan Problem $25,000
Act 3 - The Doomsday Scenario $25,000

This guide will walk you through all the preparation and setup missions of Act 1. Each setup mission has either one or two prep missions. After the completion of the prep missions, you can do the setup mission and after the completion of all the setup missions, you can finally carry out the heist itself.

You can do the prep missions solo but the setup missions and the finale have to be carried out with a minimum of 2 players or else you won't be able to do the mission. Although, you can do the prep missions solo, it is highly recommended that you carry out the prep missions with at least one friend, as it will be much faster.

Prep 1 - Paramedic Equipment

The first preparation mission is straight forward. All you need to do is to get an ambulance and bring it back to the facility.

The game asks you to go to a certain location to get the ambulance. However, you can do it without going anywhere! Simply bring up your phone, navigate to the contacts and bring up the dial pad. In the dial pad dial '911'. Once the call goes through you will have the option to call the fire department, the police or the paramedic.

Call the paramedics and after a few seconds an ambulance will show up at your location. Just get the ambulance and head back inside the facility.

Setup 1 - Dead Courier

In this setup mission there are two teams. One team is a paramedics team while the other one is a pilot.

The paramedics team need to head to the coroner's office and first search the dead bodies inside the morgue for a USB Stick. After searching the bodies and finding the stick is not there, you will be asked to go to upstairs and search the laptop for the data. When you reach the top floor, you will have to fight your way to the laptop. It is not that difficult, just make sure you have enough snacks and armour. Cover, clear the enemies and then move forward.

Once you have the data from the laptop, you will need to go all the way back from where you came, but you will need to fight your way back. It is pretty simple, as long as you are in cover and eliminate the enemies before moving.

Once you're outside, quickly get into any nearby vehicle and head to an open area where your friend can land and pick you up. You can head towards the sewer tunnel area, but not inside. Go just outside where your friend can easily land. Once you're inside the chopper, you and your friend can head back to the facility to successfully complete this setup mission. Just avoid the cones of vision of the cops when flying back and you will eventually lose them.

Prep 2 - Deluxos

In this prep mission you will need to get four Deluxos from a house. You will come across a heavily guarded house and need to clear out the enemies first.

One of the enemies will be carrying a key to the house garage. An important tip here is that you should use either a Buzzard or an Oppressor Mark II to take out the guards faster.

After you get the key, unlock the garage and take one of the Deluxos to LS Customs and change the color. After the modification take it back to the facility.

Note that once you enter the garage for the first time, you will be presented a couple more guards inside, so take them out as well.

If you're doing this mission solo then it will take a very long time and you will need to return back to the house several times to get the other Deluxos. There are a total of four Deluxos and that would make four back to back runs! So if you have at least one friend with you, then this mission becomes a lot more quick and easy.

Setup 2 - Signal Intercepts

In this setup mission, you and your friends will need to get into the Deluxos and hack some targets. The first four targets are inside moving vans. Get close to them and hack the targets using the SecureServ app on your phone. You will see a yellow circle around the targets, that yellow circle represents the vicinity you need to be in for the hacking to work. After hacking, you need to destroy the vans. A tip when you're hacking the van is to stay in front of them in order to avoid getting shot at.

Hacking the target in van

After hacking all four vans, you will need to hack four more targets - this time, on boats. The Deluxos have a hover mode feature which is unlocked when you get to the boats part of this mission. You simply need to go to the boats and hack the targets. A tip to avoid getting shot at from the boats is to circle around them while staying inside the yellow vicinity circle in order to hack. After hacking the targets, simply destroy the boats as well.

Hacking the target in boat

Finally, after hacking the targets in the boats, you will need to head over to the Los Santos International Airport and hack the target inside of an airplane. Yes, you guessed it - your Deluxos at this point will get a feature to fly and not just hover. Once you get the airport, the plane will take off and you must get closer and stay within its vicinity in order to hack the target. You will be attacked by some enemy choppers but you can hack and ask your friend to take care of the choppers or vice versa. Once you're done hacking, simply deliver the Deluxos to the drop off point and you are done with your second setup mission.

Prep 3 - Akula

For this prep mission, we highly recommend you get either a Buzzard or an Oppressor Mark II (if you have one). Also, make sure you have plenty of snacks and armour.

You need to go to Fort Zancudo and head inside of a control tower. Before you enter the control tower, just make sure you park your Buzzard/Oppressor Mark II right outside the door since you will need it later.

Control Tower Entrance

Once you head inside, go to the top floor and download the flight data in order to reveal the location of the Akula helicopter. During the hacking process, you will be detected and need to head back downstairs and out the same way you came in from. Just take it easy, first kill the guards and then move forward. Keep clearing and moving, and then head out the same door you entered the control tower from. Your Buzzard/Oppressor Mark II is now your quick getaway vehicle.

Downloading Flight Data

Now head to the location of the Akula and steal it. There are not a lot of guards surrounding the Akula and you can clear them off fairly quickly. As soon as you take the guards out, hop into the Akula and deliver it back to the facility. You will have the cops on you, but you can easily lose them when flying back to the facility, just avoid their cones of vision and you should be good to go.

Setup 3 - Server Farm

This mission is cake walk until the hacking part. Make sure you are stocked up on snacks and armour.

First you and your team member need to head over to the N.O.O.S.E Headquarters in your Akula stealth chopper and land on the roof. After landing, head down using the ladders. Make sure not to run on the roof as sometimes running on the roof and making noise alerts the guards below you. Classic Rockstar!

Landing on the roof of N.O.O.S.E HQ

Once you're down below, turn to your left and you will see one security guard and a camera. Take them both out. Remember to go for headshots and use suppressed weapons. Moving forward you will see one more guard to the far right and two more having a conversation to the left. Take the one on the right first and then you and your friend should take out the two guards to the left simultaneously. Just time your shots with your friend and decide which one they will take and which one you are going to take down. After taking them out, keep moving forward by taking out the guards and cameras you come across.

Taking out a pair of guards

Eventually, you will be asked to take cover and wait for the head of the security to come out. After a few seconds, they will come out accompanied by a security guard. Take them both out and get the access codes off of the head of security's body. Then continue to move forward by taking out the guards and cameras and enter the building through Server Farm Entrance.

Head of security accompanied by a guard

Once you're inside, you will need to sneak to the four servers and hack them. There are two servers to the east and two servers to the west.

You and your friend can spit up in two teams. Be sure to avoid the vision of cones of the guards and do not run when near the guards or else they will be alerted. You can run as long as you are not nearby any guard. Just keep an eye out for the guards on your mini-map. Also, be very careful of the cameras.

Keep moving forward and towards the server. Once you start the hack, you need to match the nodes.

Now here's the trick, the node matching is completely random however you can keep matching them until they do not reset. If the match is incorrect, the correct nodes stay connected while the incorrect are not. So it's just a matter of how well you remember the pattern. For each node, you can only connect them incorrectly four times maximum. After that, the guards are alerted and you will be bombarded by N.O.O.S.E soldiers. So try not to do that. A tip here is that if you connect the nodes 2-3 times incorrectly, simply quit the hack and then start hacking again. It will reset the error count, but it will also reset the pattern, so the nodes which connected together previously, might not connect again due to the change in the node pattern.

Killing a guard inside the server farm

After hacking is done, N.O.O.S.E headquarters is alerted regardless and you will need to fight your way back outside. A good tip here is when you have to head back to the middle, in order to go up stairs to the exit, stay on either the far left side or the far right side of the server room and keep running until you reach the middle section. This helps you avoid a lot of soldiers and minimizes the risk of getting shot at. This does not mean you won't have to kill any soldiers, you will still need to kill a couple of them. Remember to not rush straight to the middle, take your time, eliminate the guards and then move forward.

Hacking the server by matching nodes (one of the correct combinations shown)

Once you and your friend are outside, there will be a heap of cops and N.O.O.S.E so clear them before moving towards the ladder to your Akula. There will be a couple of helicopters attacking you as well. If you have a mini-gun then quickly take the helicopters out using that or use an RPG. Then take cover and eliminate the rest of the cops.

As soon as you see an open window and feel like there are less cops outside, rush to the ladders leading back up to the roof and hop in the Akula. After that simply fly back to the facility in order to successfully complete this setup mission. On your way back, avoid the vision of cones of the cops and you will eventually lose them.

Act 1 Finale - The Data Breaches

Payout (normal): $975,000

Payout (hard): $1,218,750

The finale is quite easy if you are careful. For this mission make sure you have a full stock of snacks and armour. You will also need an Armoured Kuruma - it will help you a alot in the first half of the mission.

First, you and your friend hop into the Armoured Kuruma and go to the facility. Once you reach the facility, you will see a lot of guards - since you're inside the Kuruma though, you don't need to worry about getting shot. Take out all of the enemies and you will see a camera feed cut scene showing you and your friend entering the facility.

Once you are inside the facility, you will need to take out lots of enemies before proceeding forward. So as soon as you're inside, quickly eliminate whatever guards are in front of you. After that, once you pass the metal detector, take cover by the wall to your left and take out the guards across the glass window. Keep clearing and moving forward. As you're moving forward always keep an eye out for the platforms outside the glass window, soldiers randomly spawn there and can rapid fire and instantly kill you. Always keep looking around.

Keep moving forward and then go through the doors to your left which will take you to the stairs, leading down. As you're going downstairs, some more enemies will spawn on the stairs, take them out and keep moving. When you reach the next level down, there will be a couple of interrogation rooms and a soldier in each room for you to kill. Be careful not to ignore them, as they can come out of these rooms and kill you as well. There's a double door at the end of the hallway and two soldiers will rush you from there as well. So keep an eye out for them also.

After clearing out this floor, keep going down. You will see a brown double door to the right, with a yellow marker for you to go to. Keep going downstairs while fighting the soldiers. You will reach the bottom floor at this point and should see an opening ahead of you. Do not go in there, just take cover by the wall and kill all the soldiers from this position.

Once you've cleared the bottom floor, you need to head back up to the interrogation room floor and go through the double doors where the two soldiers came out before. That room is actually a 'War Room'.

Once you reach the War Room, use one of the gun cameras to take control of the radio controlled missile turret. After gaining control of the turret, kill every soldier coming towards you. There will be a couple of helicopters as well. You will also see IAA Defense's "health" bar on the bottom right corner of your screen - you need to ensure the Defenses do not get low or else the mission will fail. Take them all out and eventually they will start trying to run away.

That is when your finale successfully ends, followed by a cut scene.
