With the new GTA Online Casino Heist update comes plenty of new content, among which includes a mystery to solve.

Someone is on a killing spree around Blaine County and they've been dubbed the "Los Santos Slasher". You need to hunt this person down and eliminate them. There are a total of five clues spread through out Blaine County. After you've found all the clues, the killer will come after you and try to pre-emptively take you down.

If you get killed by the Los Santos Slasher at this point, you will re-spawn and they will try to ambush you again and again until you've finally killed them.

After you've finally got the better of the Los Santos Slasher you will be rewarded with a Navy Revolver hand gun.

Finding each clue rewards you with $5,000 and 2,000 RP, adding up to $25,000 and 10,000 RP in total once you've found all five clues. Additionally, if you get 50 headshots with the Navy Revolver, you are rewarded with a whopping $200,000 and an exclusive Red Dead Online weapon.

The amount of money and RP you receive might not be too exciting for experienced GTA Online players, however it is a huge amount for newbies and this mystery can be solved by even beginner level players, thanks to its relative ease.

You will be able to tell when you are near a clue thanks to a very eerie and scary sound that will play. It'll be a whisper-like sound. Your controller will also vibrate subtly in you're playing with one.

Clues

First you need to find all the clues. There are a total of five clues you need to find before the killer comes after you. The clues are listed below.

Clue #1

You can find the first clue on the side of a wall in Great Chaparral. The clue is a message written in white on a wall which reads "CAN YOU FIND ME?"

Clue #2

The second clue is found at side of Sandy Shores Airfield runway. You will an amputated hand in between some other junk such as trash bag, an old tyre and some sort of table.

Clue #3

The third clue is a machete which you can find sticking on the entrance of a barn on a farm in Grapeseed.

Clue #4

The fourth clue is a Bloody Hand Print you can find on the door of a public toilet located behind Bayview Lodge in Paleto Bay Forest area.

Clue #5

The fifth and the final clue is a bit tricky. For this clue, there are FIVE possible locations where the clue can appear. The fifth clue is the murderer's van and there are five possible locations the van can spawn. You need to check all of these location until you come across the van. The possible spawn locations are listed below.

Possible Spawn Location 1

The first possible location is near Fort Zancudo. You will find it near Lago Zancudo river and swamp area as shown in the map.

Possible Spawn Location 2

The second possible spawn location for the fifth clue is near Mount Gordo area. You can find it on the side of the railway as marked by a red circle on the picture above.

Possible Spawn Location 3

The third spawn location is at Palmer-Taylor Power Station near a big tank. You can find the van beside the red tank.

Possible Spawn Location 4

Fourth possible location for the van to spawn is underneath the bridge/highway located near San Chianski Mountain Range. Right beside the railway track.

Possible Spawn Location 5

The final possible spawn location is at Raton Canyon by the river. The van will be in between the trees overlooking the river.

Los Santos Slasher Confrontation

After you've collected all the clues, you will receive a text message from the killer themselves.

The killer send you a message threatening you. The message says

I'm sick of you sticking your nose in where it doesn't belong! Now I'm not going to lie... what happens next... won't be nice for you

After you receive the text message, the slasher will come after you. However, there are certain requirements in order for the slasher to spawn for you. They are:

• You need to be in the Blaine County area. It doesn't matter wher specificaly, but it has to be in Blaine County.
• The slasher only spawns at night in between 7 P.M. and 5 A.M.
• You need to be on foot for the slasher to spawn for you.

Since the slasher can ambush you from any direction and catch you by surprise, it is recommended that you find an open location without a lot of obstacles or walls in between. This will give you a good amount of time to kill the slasher before he kills you.

Keeping this in mind, we recommend waiting for the slasher at the Sandy Shores Airfield in the Grand Senora Desert area. It is a nice open area with no walls or buildings, this will help you spot the slasher quickly and take him down.

Once it gets to night-time you will see a slasher 'Skull' icon on the mini map, marked in red, which indicates the killer. And when you look in that particular direction, you will find him running towards you. Make sure you have your gun out beforehand so you can quickly take the Slasher down. It is a one shot to the head kill, so it is not that difficult, but it's always good to be prepared before hand.

Rewards

After you've killed the Slasher you will be rewarded with $50,000 and a new Navy Revolver.

Furthermore, if you land 50 headshots with this revolver, you will get $200,000 GTA$ along with an exclusive Red Dead Online weapon.
