50 Cent hinting at Rockstar Games collaboration

Fiddy's connection with GTA has made fans extremely excited for what's to come.

Eminem, Dr. Dre, and 50 Cent are synonymous with hip-hop culture. Two of them have also been linked to Grand Theft Auto. Dr. Dre joined Grand Theft Auto Online two years ago to play himself in The Cayo Perico Heist and The Contract.

On the other hand, Rockstar Games was said to have declined the option to have Eminem star in a live-action adaptation many years ago. Now, 50 Cent is getting in on the fun and it appears he's involved in the next GTA title.

50 Cent shared an Instagram post that referenced Vice City, the setting and namesake of 2002's Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. It's also the presumed setting of the next GTA game.

Unfortunately, outside of cryptic words, 50 Cent refused to reveal the truth.

Wouldn't it be something to see Fiddy play a big role in GTA 6?

At this point, we only know very few things about GTA 6. If not for last year's leaks, we'd only know about two things: it's in development and it will set a creative benchmark in the entertainment industry.

Since confirming GTA 6, Rockstar and Take-Two haven't talked much about the game. So, you can't blame fans for jumping on the speculation wagon as soon as 50 Cent confirmed his involvement in Vice City. Also, by comparing it to his hit Starz TV show, Power, some are saying that 50 Cent will star in a live-action GTA series set in Vice City. However, it wouldn't surprise us if Rockstar and Fiddy are working together on the soundtrack of GTA 6.

Just a fun fact, it's never been confirmed or denied that Rockstar offered 50 Cent the lead role in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The rumors say that 50 Cent turned down the role because he wanted to play himself. Carl "CJ" Johnson shares the same initials as 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III.

Speaking of music, fans believe they've found the GTA 6 theme song in GTA Online.
