Get ready, Grand Theft Auto fans! Rockstar Games has just dropped a huge hype-inducing trailer. The developers of GTA have given us a more extensive look at the massive summer update for GTA Online, San Andreas Mercenaries.
The upcoming GTA Online update is dropping on June 13. If you're a fan, you're in for a treat!
San Andreas Mercenaries is all about action and adventure. It sees players join forces with Charlie Reed, an expert pilot and skilled mercenary. Your mission (should you choose to accept it)? To lead the Los Santos Angels. You'll tackle a series of risky missions to mess up the plans of the ruthless mercenary group, Merryweather Security. You'll do anything from stealing sensitive data from server farms to conducting raids and even dropping explosive payloads on high-value targets across Los Santos. The best part is you can bring your friends along for the ride and earn big together.
But, what else can you expect from the new update? As previously revealed, you can look forward to new private military aircraft content and several quality-of-life improvements.
From the trailer, we caught a glimpse of what's coming to GTA Online. We got an interior shot of the Mammoth Avenger with a Thruster jetpack. We even see a new fighter jet, which obviously takes inspiration from the F-35 Lighting II. And, guess what? This jet has VTOL capabilities! So, you can land it or take it off without needing a runway.
As a bonus, we get a sneak peek at the new off-road vehicle model.
Going back to the Mammoth Avenger, it's now an enhanced aerial command center. This center will feature a new Operations Terminal and weapon system upgrades. You'll use it to plan and launch heists.
With so many exciting things happening, it's a great time to be a GTA fan. It's not GTA 6, but it's explosive and just as fun!

There is 7 new vehicles, 1 new gun, new missions/work, and a slew of updates and added extras.
Is there a list of everything being added somewhere I can gloss over? I know the main things are the vehicles, as usual but I want to know what else they are adding or changing in the game.
I am ready for it. Been waiting for something new like this to be added to freshen things up a bit.
Someone I know mentioned them doing another update in the fall similar to this one, adding in new items, vehicles, and a new game mode but I think that is just a rumor. I can't find any information on it.
I am glad they are still rolling out updates and adding new things even though production of GTA 6 started. I think this will help hold people over a bit longer until the next game gets released.
