GTA 3 Cheats For Xbox Consoles

GTA 3 on Xbox consoles, including the Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, contains cheat codes that you can use to alter the gameplay. Here's our full guide on how to use cheats in GTA 3.

GTA 3 Xbox Cheats

These cheats for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox versions of Grand Theft Auto 3 will help no matter whether you've exhausted all of the game's standard content, but aren't ready to leave Rockstar's rendition of Liberty City behind, or if you need a bit of divine intervention to get past a particularly difficult mission. Make sure you use the correct button combo depending if you have the original version or the Definitive Edition of GTA 3.

How to use GTA 3 cheats on Xbox

  1. Make A New Save

    : 

    Save your game before entering any cheat codes in GTA 3, this ensures you can go back to a clean state once you're done using them.

  2. Select Your Cheats

    : 

    With so many cheats to choose from, you should know which particular one(s) you want to use. Browse our list and decide.

  3. Enter The Cheat Codes

    : 

    You'll need to enter the correct controller button combination (based on which version of GTA 3 you have) that activates your chosen cheat code. Do not pause the game, enter the code during gameplay.

  4. Activation Successful

GTA 3 Cheats for Xbox

  • Big Head Mode: UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT RIGHT, LEFT RIGHT, B, A
    Everyone runs around with big heads. This is a new cheat included in The GTA: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. Does not work in the original version of GTA 3.

  • Flying Cars
    • Original: RIGHT, RB, B, RT, LB, DOWN, LT, RT
    • Definitive/Trilogy: RIGHT, RT, B, RB, LT, DOWN, LB, RB
    Causes cars to take off from the ground.
  • NPCs Carry Weapons

    PEDs will be armed. They won't be hostile by default, but they will shoot back if attacked.
  • NPC Riot

    PEDs will attack one another and also you. Non-revertable.
  • NPCs Attack

  • Give All Weapons

    Cars become see-through. Does not work in the new definitive edition of GTA 3.

    Increases the amount of blood when you are attacking. Does not work in the new definitive edition of GTA 3.

  • Spawn Tank
    • Original: B, B, B, B, B, B, RT, LB, LT, Y, B, Y
    • Definitive/Trilogy: B, B, B, B, B, B, RB, LT, LB, Y, B, Y
    Spawns a tank directly in front of you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use cheat codes and still earn Achievements?

No, using cheats will disable Achievements for that game session, until you restore a previously saved game.

Can I use these cheats on the original Xbox console?

Yes, press the Black button for RB and the White button for LB.

Is GTA 3 available on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S?

Yes, it was included in the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, released on November 11, 2021.
